This young lad was found wandering the streets of Toronto. There are dozens of guesses as to what happened to his face but no one knows for sure and his owners certainly aren't stepping up.

He's a cutie. I emailed the photo to my mom.. Her boyfriend has been itching for a border collie, not sure my mom feels the same way lol. She sure does love little Scooby -Doo though!

Awww, what a cutie, looks just like my Gemma.
Those scars could be the result of eating out of a tin can. I've read of a BC that was actually blinded from asphyxiation from eating out of a tin can which got stuck.
I hope for the best for this little charmer.
Aw, what a sweetie. He's a gorgeous little guy. Poor thing. The scars add character to that face...I bet he won't last long.
He is precious! Love those fuzzy ears.
OMG - I think I'm in love! I have a soft spot for Border Collies, especially mixes. They're such amazing dogs (ok, yes, I think all dogs are amazing). I hope this beautiful guy finds a wonderful, permanent home that will love him for the super-smart, wonderful dog that I'm sure he is, and that will respect and give license to his probably very high energy, always inquisitive ways. I love my red BC mix. In the four years that I've had her, she's had me outdoors probably more than the 30-plus years in total that I didn't have her!
He does look very sweet. The scratches look older - the scabs have healed and fallen off except for his nose. Maybe an older dog reprimanding him? Poor boy. The hair should grow back quickly. I'm sure he will get adopted quickly, send lots of good karma his way!
Toronto Unleashed, I do believe this guy's been adopted. Cuties like this one don't last long!
I can't believe I chanced on this post!
We met this beautiful boy the day of this post and brought him home the next morning. He is the most incredible dog and we are so lucky to have him. This still-full-of-energy pup just celebrated his 11th birthday in our big yard. We've brought each other a lot of joy :)
