From Maggie's new owners:
Attached are a few pictures of Maggie and her new life. It's been almost 4 months now since we got Maggie and we wanted to let you know she's doing great. She loves her walks, loves other dogs and playing with them. She is doing very well with our boys and lots of their friends that come through our house. She's a good listener and very loving. She seems to be happy to be part of our family. She loves it at the farm, but has trouble getting there(still gets car sick). We're looking forward to the summer and spending it at the farm.

WTG Maggie! She looks very happy in her new home.
Fred - Loving your new header pics of Bella and Rocky.
Happy Maggie girl!
Ditto on the header pics - nice to see Rocky and Stella (although the portrait of Stella in profile is one of my favourite dog photos)!
I liked that Stella profile as well but I thought it would only be fair to give Rocky some equal time. Plus he looks quite fetching in pink dontcha think?
Nice update on Maggie.
Really want to thank new owners who take the time to do this.
At our house we really love reading the updates and seeing the new photos.
Also like the fetching new photos at the top of blog.Surprisingly they look good in pink.
Dang that's one cute-faced dog.
She is such a beautiful girl. I really liked her when she was at TAS. She struck me as being incredibly smart and willing to please!! She is a farm dog for sure. I bet she's in her element there. Great to hear about how well Maggie is doing
Susan
He sure does, Rocky is a very handsome fellow

It really brings out the brown in his eyes! Seriously, they're both so gorgeous.
Maggie really is pretty. I wonder if a bit of Gravol would help her in the car? I've given it to cats before (childrens'-strength): I wonder whether dogs tolerate it as well.
Fred - Thanks for the update on Maggie. Few will know that Maggie was one of two dogs surrendered several months ago. Her doggie Mom, "Baby", was quick to be social and make friends with us. Maggie was not. Suffice to say, she displayed less than pleasant behaviour, which left us quite concerned as to what her eventual outcome would be. In the end, all it took was a tiny investment of time - I sat with her in her kennel, spoke to her reassuringly and waited. Maybe it was me; maybe it was the cookies I had; maybe it was the colour of my knickers that day - who knows? - but Maggie and I went on her first walk at TAS. The first of many with staff and volunteers alike...
Thank you everyone who invested a little time with Maggie on her journey to becoming a very much loved family companion!
Nicola
PS This update truly made my day!
She has a lovely face, and it sounds like a great home. may she live long, and be very happy.
Do we have any word on Baby, her buddy?
Nicola, you mean this is that Maggie? I remember her well. She was quite the handful then. What a turnaround she has made - so happy for her. Her mom Baby was the first dog I walked at TAS and she was sweet. I hope she found a good home too.
What a great update, thanks for sharing, Fred!
p.s. I as well love the new photos at the top of the page. Great scarves!!
